Saudi Arabia is a Middle Eastern country where women have access to very few rights. In fact, they only have 3 rights without a male guardian's consent. Saudi Arabia is home to 14.2 million women and all 14.2 million are struggling with the lack of rights.
The rights women have without a male's consent include:
1. Being able to under go medical surgery
2. Filing for marriage or divorce
3. Being allowed to work in certain work places
Although the rights women have are limited, things are slowly changing for the better. The government of Saudi Arabia is choosing to make changes for the women of their country. Even though things are changing, the process is very slow, slower than most Middle Eastern countries. Basic rights that women residing in other countries have, the women in Saudi Arabia were just granted in the past few years.
