WHY SHOULD YOU CARE?

  In the country of North Korea, they're not addressing the big issue of forced abortions, because they are not addressing this issue in their own country, it would be an astonishing that other people outside of North Korea would know about this big issue. When I was looking into this topic of forced abortion I found an article that vividly described the methods of how forced abortions went about. The reason why you should care about this topic is that many women are not only being traumatized by this happening to them but are also known to die from this based on the horrific and inhumane way they do forced abortions for both the mother and the fetus.

Child marriage in Ghana has been around since before American slavery has happened. Some reasons why you should care about this, the young women of Ghana (below the age of 13). Our being forced into marriage and having babies by the time they're 18 years old. Some of the reasons they do this is because of religious or societal reasons. They have made laws to help prevent this from continuing. But only about 12% of the time these laws are being followed consistently. Any mother could tell you about the pain of having a baby. now imagine a little girl going through those pains before she is even of legal age.

Reasons why you should care about Saudi Arabia's lack of women's rights. We as Americans have been spoiled by being progressive enough to have women's rights. There are some differences between why Americans have rights versus why Saudi Arabia has a lack of Rights. Big reasons why Saudi Arabia did not have women's rights or not as many as America’s Society thinks they should have is because of their religious beliefs. Having said that should Saudi Arabia women should have more rights than they do currently. If you ask anyone from the US they will tell you yes I do think the women of Saudi deserve more rights. If you were to ask other people from different parts of the world they may have a different answer than you. But you should care about this because all women no matter where you are from should have basic rights that Saudi Arabia women are not getting.

Sexual harassment in the Philippines has been a slowly growing issue ever since did President of the Philippines has been making comments about women and degraded their Authority in a political sense. The president of the Philippines is showing young men that it is okay to sexually harass women and talk about wanting to do disturbing things to them because he can get away with it. He's showing that message to impressionable kids to where a future in that country is not looking safe for women.
